This Privacy Policy describes how Intelligence Simplified, LLC
(“we,” “us”) handles information in the E.D.A. (Empathetic Digital Assistant)
iOS app, bundle identifier com.intelligencesimplified.eda.

Overview
E.D.A. is an on-device Apple Reminders companion. Reminder data stays on your device (including a local Shadow Ledger cache). Production language understanding uses Apple Foundation Models on device. We do not sell your data, and we do not use advertising or ad tracking.
Information we access or process
- Apple Reminders (EventKit). With your permission, the app reads and updates reminders you choose to manage through E.D.A. Reminder content is stored and processed on device.
- Local notifications. With your permission, the app may schedule local notifications on your device to support reminders and related prompts. Notification content is handled on device.
- On-device model and conversation context. Prompts, tool results, and assistant replies used for chat and assistance are processed on device via Apple Foundation Models and related app logic. They are not sent to our servers for model inference.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use third-party advertising networks or ad trackers in the app.
- We do not require an account with Intelligence Simplified to use core Reminders features.
Retention and deletion
- You can revoke Reminders access and notification permission in iOS Settings at any time.
- On-device app data (including the local Shadow Ledger and app caches) is removed when you delete the E.D.A. app from your device.
- Reminders that live in Apple Reminders remain under Apple’s control and your iCloud/device settings after you delete the app.
Children
E.D.A. is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
